Summary
A 178-page set of numbered "Check-List – Unidentified Flying Objects" forms, many with witness statements, newspaper extracts and sketches. Incident #101 (Feb. 18) records a fireball over Kansas, with a remark quoting an amateur astronomer that meteorites recovered from it gave "tangible proof that the fireball... was just that," and a farmer's statement describing a funnel-shaped object "fire belching out of it" hovering near his house before taking off. Other forms record, among others, objects seen accelerating and climbing in trail formation after witnesses first took them for balloons, a blue-flame object near James Bay, and a silver "plate" over McKeesport.
Note
A large mixed file; this summary covers selected check-lists and is not exhaustive.
