Summary
An FBI Albuquerque report dated May 8, 1964 states that Special Agent D. Arthur Byrnes, Jr. was at the State Police Office in Socorro when the sheriff's radio operator came in with a report. It includes data obtained from Officer Lonnie Zamora, who describes a "shiny type object to south about 150 to 200 yards" that at first "looked, at first, like a car turned upside" down, with an insignia and an "aluminum-white" appearance. It records that Sergeant Chavez and Zamora went to the spot and Chavez pointed out the tracks; later pages are handwritten and largely illegible in the released file.
