Summary
AARO says it contracted ORNL in 2024 to evaluate a specimen "reportedly recovered from a private property near Flint Ridge State Park, Ohio, in the mid-1990s," after the owner reported seeing a large unidentified airborne object. AARO concurs with ORNL and says the composition most closely matches aluminum alloys 369.1 and A413.1. AARO assessed "that the specimen is most likely an ordinary, conventionally manufactured aluminum alloy."
