Summary
In January 2015, a U.S. Navy F/A-18F pilot recorded an object with a FLIR sensor over the Atlantic off Florida; the Department of Defense released the "Go Fast" video in 2020. AARO assessed "with high confidence that the object did not move at anomalous speeds," placing it at about 13,000 feet, and says it "cannot definitively identify the object." A technical appendix sets out AARO's reconstruction from the publicly available 34-second video, because the original file and metadata "are no longer available."
