Summary
Satellite imagery from 30 August 2017 showed six dark triangular objects that were flagged as potentially anomalous and a possible navigation risk. AARO assessed that they "almost certainly are cone-shaped, static fishing nets floating on the surface of the ocean," based on comparison with 2022–2023 imagery. The document gives their size as about 11m x 7m.
