Summary
A one-page CIA information report, marked "unevaluated information," from a naturalized U.S. citizen of Hungarian extraction who quotes a November 1955 letter from his niece in Budapest. The quoted passage says "the so-called flying saucers (rockets) /sic/ for several weeks kept the people in a nervous state" and kept "scientific groups very busy," with "12 thousand km per hour" estimated. A sketch shows a formation and suspected course between Budapest and Moscow, and the report says this was the first time the niece had mentioned such objects.
Note
Second-hand hearsay from a private letter; CIA-UAP-018 is another copy of the same report with the translated letter.
