Summary
A CIA information report (with a press-photo page and a 1974 FTD database printout) tabulates bright objects seen between Feb. 19 and March 25, 1968. Entries include a fast, long, thin object "emitting red and green bright light" with thunder over northeast Nepal on Feb. 19; a bluish object over Thimphu on Feb. 21 "moving at high speed without any noise"; and a "rocket-like object" in Ladakh leaving a trail at "20-25,000 feet." One Kaski entry says a blazing object disintegrated and "a huge metallic disc-shaped object with a six-foot base and four feet in height was found in a crater" five miles northeast of Pokhara, with portions of a similar object at another site.
Note
The crater-object claim appears as a table entry with no follow-up in the released pages; the source line is redacted.
