Summary
Four pages of correspondence of James L. Tuck. A handwritten Nov. 23, 1970 letter to Tuck from a writer whose name is redacted says that "during the years 1948 through 1951 several sightings of green lights were made at Los Alamos," usually at night over the Jemez Mountains, recalls "five objects flying over Los Alamos in the afternoon" in formation, and suggests the Protective Force logs would hold times and dates. A December 1970 letter from Tuck asks the U.S. Army Engineering School for the recipe used in simulated atomic bomb demonstrations, citing interest in atmospheric vortices reported in the Condon study, and a note to "Jim" comments on his ball-lightning report and a UFO book.
Note
