Summary
A Pantex incident report says ground surveillance radar detected an unknown object at about 7:10 a.m. flying north, west of the plant, at roughly 10–15 mph. Security gates were secured, and a protective-force lieutenant and officer followed the object, observed it through binoculars for 1–2 minutes, heard no sound, and could not identify a propulsion system before losing it several miles north.
