Summary
A range fouler form says that at 23,819 ft HAT over the Gulf of Aden the crew "tracked a round, cold object in IR traveling 168 degrees at 277 mph" that "made a few abrupt directional changes during the 8 minute contact." The sensor was aimed 39 degrees below the aircraft at a slant range of 6.17 nm; with the IR set to black hot, the object appeared bright white. Coordinates are redacted.
