Summary
A routing slip and copy of the joint USAF Directorate of Intelligence / Office of Naval Intelligence study 'Analysis of Flying Object Incidents in the United States,' dated 10 December 1948. It states that approximately 210 incidents had been reported and that the frequency of reports, similar characteristics and quality of observers 'support the contention that some type of flying object has been observed.' It sorts descriptions into disk-shaped, rough cigar-shaped and balls of fire, and cites Weather Bureau observers at Richmond who saw metallic disks through a theodolite.
Note
The scan is heavily degraded; the same study appears in more legible form in DOW-UAP-D094.
