Summary
USAF Scientific Advisory Board papers on the A.V. Roe Canada 'Project Y,' a circular-planform aircraft designed for vertical take-off, including a 10 December 1954 cover letter signed by J. H. Doolittle forwarding a committee report after a visit to the company on November 17–18. Related intelligence memoranda discuss reported German saucer designs (Schriever, Miethe), possible Soviet capabilities, and recommend re-examining UFO reports from areas near the Soviet Union.
