Summary

A report from the 918th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron, Prince George, B.C., says two airmen guarding a B-29 at the airport saw a round white light with a blue tint, blinking rhythmically, with a humming sound. It appeared at first to be a falling star, came to about 150 feet off the ground for about 30 seconds, rose about 300 feet, then left westward, climbing; total time about 4 minutes. The intelligence officer, Capt. James F. Mitchell, gives the cause as "unknown."
