Summary
In an FBI interview, a resident (name redacted) says his first sighting, around 5 a.m. one day in 2021, was a single light outside his back window that split into two or three lights in a triangular pattern for about ten minutes and vanished when he accidentally took a flash photo. He says he has seen "hundreds" of such lights, often at dusk or night, that appear to morph and move laterally, that recording them often produces corrupted video, and that he cross-checked sightings against ADS-B data to rule out aircraft. He also recounts a 1996 drive from Fort Bliss to Fort Carson during which, he says, the vehicle shut down in New Mexico while a large light shone on it for about two minutes.
