Summary
An FBI FD-302 records an in-person interview with a resident who arrived home around 9:15 p.m. and saw a yellow, basketball-sized ball of light and a second, larger one "about the size of a beach ball" behind a row of trees; an agent's note estimates them at about 30 yards away and 20–30 feet up. The witness and a second person who came outside watched the objects move left at the same height past trees and a neighbor's house, and the witness says one appeared to go into the other before disappearing. The witness also mentions later white orbs, an earlier 1987 sighting of a circling red light near power lines, and that agents took photos with permission.
Note
The document calls the first light yellow (no color is given for the second) but later refers to "the prior red orbs"; it is not clear whether this is the same event as FBI-UAP-D009.
