Summary
An FBI FD-302 reproduces a co-signed statement by two Special Agents at an observation post. After a thermal detection was called out, they saw a dark, nonreflective triangular object resembling a delta-wing drone, estimated 9–15 feet across, rise vertically over a ridge line, then fly horizontally at high speed and descend out of view about 1.5 miles away. They reported a uniform thermal signature, no exhaust and no sound over a sighting of about three seconds.
Note
The agents themselves call it an 'unmanned aerial system' in the statement; size and speed are visual estimates.
