Summary
A NASA file of memoranda, correspondence and debriefing transcripts about luminous phenomena reported by astronauts during spaceflight, including a 1962 draft memo following an interview with Lt. Col. John H. Glenn. In one debriefing an astronaut says thruster firings at night produced 'tremendous streams of luminous particles of fireflies' that 'seemed to go back along flight path.' A June 1963 scientific debriefing with Gordon Cooper discusses a flashing-light experiment and ground lights.
