Summary
A senior U.S. intelligence official gives a first-hand account of a helicopter mission over a test range to investigate loud thuds and earlier orb sightings. The official writes that ground teams reported a "super-hot" object on infrared that split in two and came within ten feet of the helicopter, and that from a hover the crew saw orange orbs swarming, then two orbs flaring close to the aircraft with a third and fourth below them, "four or five" in all in a "T" formation, and later orbs appearing above passing fighter jets. The official says no photos were taken; the posted document carries a May 26, 2026, correction of a typo.
